The Society for Waldensian Studies was founded in 1881 when a group of scholars joined together for multidisciplinary and historical studies on migration movements. In 1884 the Bullettin started to be published and since 2017 it is entitled “Reformation and Religious Movements”, published by Claudiana Publishing Company. Our aim has always been to promote  historical research on the Waldensian Movement, on Protestant Churches and religious movements in Europe, through conferences and publications. Today, more than ever, our research promotes dialogue with lay society, within a frame of global history and religious pluralism, in different moments in history.
