Admission ticket agreements

Ticket for visitors with a disability and Residential Child Care Institution

Free entrance for helpers of people with a disability, showing a card stating the obligation to be accompanied and for the assistants of a Residential Child Care Institution.

Schools and teachers information

Teachers can sign up as professionals on the website to request a pass valid for five days (€12 instead of € 24) or a daily ticket (€ 5 instead of € 10), but also to receive newsletters, download the ministerial exemption, book the visit for their students and the meetings for the project Educare alla lettura (reading education - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

After having logged in to our portal, teachers not accompanying their students can go directly to the entrances reserved to schools with a valid identity document, or buy online, from the 30th April, from their personal area, the reduced pass or ticket for teachers, printing it and showing it at the entrance gate without going to the reception.  

Teachers or school intermediaries, logged into the website, can book the entrance ticket for their students. Entrance ticket booking is compulsory. The ticket costs € 2.50 for primary schools and € 6 for secondary schools. Teachers accompanying their students have the right to a free entrance ticket. The fair offers a reduced-price ticket € 8 for all the subscribers to the bike sharing TObike, on presentation of the relevant card to the ticket office. TObike offers the chance to all visitors to buy – through its app – the One Day daily ticket to access Salone Internazionale del Libro at a reduced price of € 5. 

Abbonamento Musei – Museum card

Thanks to the strong collaboration between Salone Internazionale del Libro and Abbonamento Musei, which will have a stand in the fair, all visitors will have the possibility of buying the Piedmont Museum Card or Lombardy Museum Card, on presentation of purchase receipt together with the card and they will have a reduction on the admission ticket (€ 8 instead of € 10).

How to reach the fair

By train

You can reach Turin and Salone del Libro comfortably by train: Frecce trains: 36 daily connections with Rome and 58 with Milan. Regionale veloce trains: 48 daily connections with Milan, 28 with Genova, 23 with Cuneo, 18 with Savona and 24 trains connecting Turin and Aosta. 

Turin is connected to the whole Region, through some 300 trains of the metropolitan railway service (SFM): Pinerolo and Chivasso, Bra and Alba, Asti, Fossano, Susa and Bardonecchia. Furthermore, the opening of the connection between Torino Lingotto station and the Oval Pavilion, gives the possibility to visitors of entering directly the Fair through the walkway from the quay n 9.

Thanks to the convention with Trenitalia, the owners of Carta Freccia subscription and Frecciarossa, Frecciargento or Frecciabianca train ticket to Turin – with a maximum validity of three days before the entrance day to the event – can access the Fair with a 2X1 promotion. Owners of a ticket or a subscription to a Regional train, valid also outside the region or with Formula integration, and with a maximum validity of three days, before the entrance day to the event, will have a 30% discount on the admission ticket (€ 7 instead of € 10).

You can reach the fair by bus lines 1, 18 and 35, Lingotto stop.

Parking Lot

Lingotto Parking, inside the Lingotto Centre, is the wider parking area of Turin, divided into 9 sectors, 166,000 sqm and more than 3,800 external spaces and in the basement, to meet all user’s needs. Entrance from via Mattè Trucco 70.

Wi-Fi: all visitors can have access to a free wi-fi in some dedicated areas. There are no architectural barriers. Lis – Italian Sign Language translation is granted for many of the conferences in the program, marked on the website.

Where to eat at the fair

Hospitality services at Lingotto Fiere are provided by Autogrill Italia, which will manage all food courts of the area.

Family area in Boockstock Village

Bookstock Village is the place where families are offered with specific services, as child-care area – breastfeeding and diapers changing – and a free baby parking for children aged 4 to 10, every day from 10 to the closing time. With the purchase of an admission ticket to the fair, the access to all conferences and laboratories is free and subject to place availability. To book a laboratory you should go to the desk inside the Boockstock Village.
