A great cultural festival
From literature to philosophy, from science to art, from journalism to religion, from cinema to music: every year some of the most influent and interesting personalities of the global cultural environment meet in Turin. Inside Lingotto Fiere exhibition centre there are almost forty conference rooms hosting a program of more than 1,200 events.

Salone OFF
Salone Off is an initiative born in 2004 with the aim of bringing books and performances outside the Lingotto pavilions, mainly involving the suburbs and the territory of the metropolitan area. Libraries, bookshops, theatres, former factories, cafés, streets and squares, public places, hospitals, parks and gardens, prisons, cemeteries and metro stations.

SalTo Pro - A digital platform for the community of Salone
A great networking occasion and a program dedicated to all the professions in the publishing sector. Salone del Libro organises workshops, conferences and b2b meetings at Lingotto exhibition centre and during the whole year. It is a physical and virtual place to meet, train and find out all the news involving the book industry. SalTo Rights Centre is one of the most important appointments in the European agenda of the publishing sector for selling and buying translation and publishing rights. Book to screen is the section dedicated to cinema and TV series rights sale. Publishers and agents from 40 countries around the world come to Turin every year to become part of the project.

SalTo Scuola - For the readers of tomorrow
It is the section of Salone dedicated to the world of schools and teenagers, supported by Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo. It continuously offers activities for all the students in Italy. It’s a big laboratory of ideas where to experiment, understand and discuss together thanks to the best editorial offer for kids and teenagers. There are many projects running throughout the year. The longest-running of these is Adotta uno scrittore, which has brought the most important contemporary authors into schools and prisons for 19 years. The Educare alla lettura courses are dedicated to teachers, at the fair and - during the year - online, to promote reading among younger generations.
