Smith’s collection of essays, Vivi e Morti, will be published by SUR in May.

The Salone has been developing its Guest of Honour Country program, as well as its strategic relations with European and international institutions, including the Institut Français, Instituto Cervantes, Goethe-Institut, Literature Ireland, the Polish Book Institute, and, for the first time in Turin this year, Norla - Norwegian Literature Abroad.

The collaboration with the Frankfurter Buchmesse has led to the birth of exciting projects such as the Aficionado Award, which has become a reference for publishers worldwide; the partnership with the European Strega Awards brings to the book fair authors who have received the accolades of the most prestigious literary prizes on a European level.

Wednesday 13th-Friday 15 th, May

The first of the three-day market will feature the fourth edition of the Aficionado Award. Thanks to support from ICE, the Italian Trade Agency, the Rights Centre offers a highly sought-after fellowship program.

The fair includes a Business Area, dedicated to companies and supply chain planning, a New Publishers Area, a Self-Publishing Area and the Publishers Centre, designed as space for exhibitors at the fair, but above all as a privileged place for professional exchange.
