A rich program of events dedicated to Greek-language cultural production

Voices of the Greek literary scene include Petros Markaris, one of Italy's most beloved writers and screenwriters, who returns with the latest installment in the successful Kostas Kharitos detective series, La crescita che uccide (La Nave di Teseo);

Anna Griva with La schiava greca (Crocetti), a historical novel inspired by the story of Garifalià Michalvei and the debate on slavery in the 19th century;

Dimitris Dimitriadis will present two key works from his theater, Muoio come un paese and Il Vangelo di Cassandra (Crocetti).

Makis Malafekas, hailed as the new master of Mediterranean noir, will present his Deepfake (Baldini + Castoldi), with its daring scenes and over-the-top characters roaming the Athenian night.

Angela Dimitrakaki will present her novel Quattro Testimonianze sul fiume Erinnio (Voland), exploring friendship, memory, and urban myth in the working-class suburbs of Athens in the 1980s.

Nikos Davvetas will present his novel La secondina (Gramma Feltrinelli), in which a son tries to reconstruct his mother's memories, a former correctional officer in Athens' women's prisons, as Alzheimer’s disease erodes her memory.

Also participating will be writer Christos Kythreotis (Besa Muci), Ersi Sotiropoulou in conversation with Melania G. Mazzucco, Dimitris Lyacos (Il Saggiatore), and Dimitris Mamaloukas (Crocetti).

Children’s and young adult authors Stella Kasdagli, Kyriakos Charitos, and Giorgos Panagiotakis in conversation with Pierdomenico Baccalario (in collaboration with Camelozampa and MIMebu).
