Da sempre la narrazione e l’attenzione all’ illustrazione è stata l’anima che ha condotto le scelte editoriali e stilistiche insieme all’attenzione per tematiche delicate, a contenuti culturali e alla volontà di inclusione in tutte le forme rese possibili dalla parola e dalle illustrazioni.La narrativa per bambini è quella che con maggior impulso e interesse abbiamo voluto sviluppare perché siamo convinti che lo sguardo sulla bellezza e sulla poliedricità del mondo vada accompagnato fin dal concepimento e debba accompagnare il bambino in tutte le sue fasi di crescita.Tuttavia non abbiamo voluto rinunciare anche alla narrativa e alla saggistica illustrata rivolta agli adulti perché allo stesso modo anche noi abbiamo bisogno di fantasia, di bellezza, di poesia. La casa editrice è attiva nella promozione alla lettura e organizza eventi, laboratori, corsi di aggiornamento e formazione presso scuole, biblioteche, associazioni, teatri ecc.
Edizioni Astragalo was born about ten years ago as an independent publishing editor.Storytelling and attention to illustration have always been the soul that led the editorial and stylistic choices together with the attention to delicate themes, cultural contents and the desire for inclusion in all the forms made possible by the word and illustrations.The narrative for children is the one that we wanted to develop with the greatest impulse and interest because we are convinced that the gaze on the beauty and versatility of the world must be accompanied from conception and must accompany the child in all its stages of growth.However, we did not want to give up fiction and illustrated non-fiction aimed at adults because in the same way we too need imagination, beauty, poetry.The publishing house is active in promoting reading and organizes events, workshops, refresher and training courses at schools, libraries, associations, theaters, etc.
