Sara Colombo è una trentacinquenne che ha saputo reinventarsi in maniera creativa ogni volta che la vita le ha messo davanti una prova da superare. Nata nella provincia bergamasca agli inizi degli anni novanta, si è diplomata in ambito umanistico e poi ha intrapreso la carriera militare. Tornata successivamente alla vita civile, è stata prima maestra d’asilo e poi, dopo essersi trasferita a Trieste, mamma, l’esperienza che più le ha fatto riscoprire la magia che muove il mondo. Così, spinta dall’entusiasmo, si è dedicata alla stesura del suo primo romanzo ‘ISTANTANEE DELL'ANIMA’ (Giugno 2024) nel quale si trovano aspetti che le sono vicini: il tema del viaggio come crescita interiore, delle coincidenze che mere coincidenze non sono, delle seconde opportunità, del perdono come inizio di una rinascita. Con uno stile introspettivo e descrittivo, Sara Colombo riesce a prendervi per mano e a condurvi di un itinerario le cui tappe sono profonde riflessioni sul senso della vita e sulla bellezza del mondo in ogni sua sfaccettatura. Grazie al suo romanzo d’esordio, è stata selezionata dal Comitato Editoriale del Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino nella categoria Self 2025 e dal Comitato di Casa Sanremo Writers 2026. Il suo secondo romanzo, 'UNA CODA TRA I BUCANEVE' (Aprile 2026), è stato selezionato in anteprima per la categoria Self 2026 al Salone del Libro.
Sara Colombo is a 35-year-old woman who has been able to creatively reinvent herself every time life has presented her with a challenge to overcome. Born in the province of Bergamo in the early 1990s, she graduated with a degree in humanities and then embarked on a military career. Returning to civilian life, she first worked as a kindergarten teacher and then, after moving to Trieste, became a mother, an experience that helped her rediscover the magic that moves the world. Thus, driven by enthusiasm, she devoted herself to writing her first novel, ‘ISTANTANEE DELL'ANIMA’ (Snapshots of the Soul, June 2024), which touches on themes close to her heart: the theme of travel as inner growth, coincidences that are not mere coincidences, second chances, and forgiveness as the beginning of a rebirth. With an introspective and descriptive style, Sara Colombo takes you by the hand and leads you on a journey whose stages are profound reflections on the meaning of life and the beauty of the world in all its facets. Thanks to her debut novel, she was selected by the Editorial Committee of the Turin International Book Fair in the Self 2025 category and by the Casa Sanremo Writers 2026 Committee. Her second novel, ‘UNA CODA TRA I BUCANEVE’ (April 2026), was selected in preview for the Self 2026 category at the Book Fair.
