Il marchio editoriale è nato all’inizio del 2013, con l’intento di pubblicare principalmente opere accademiche tecniche e scientifiche, con un bagaglio di esperienza maturata in anni di lavoro con i libri delle Edizioni Ingegneria 2000 e Siderea, storici marchi romani dell’editoria accademica di tipo tecnico. Successivamente si è deciso di pubblicare volumi di altri settori disciplinari (filosofia, storia, arte, archeologia). Oltre alla manualistica accademica e alla saggistica, sono presenti in catalogo due collane di narrativa. In fase sperimentale, qualche volume del catalogo è disponibile anche in versione ebook.Crediamo nel superamento della dicotomia tra scienziati e umanisti, questione spesso riproposta anche nelle scelte editoriali e il richiamo delle collane ai classici latini e greci è una scelta in tale direzione, un invito ad allontanarsi dallo specialismo per accostarsi ad una idea più ampia di cultura. L’attività della casa editrice è supportata dall’esistenza dell’omonima libreria, punto di riferimento per gli studenti universitari delle facoltà scientifiche di Roma Tre.
