Fondata nel 1969 da Vittorio Avanzini, e oggi guidata insieme con il figlio Raffaello, la Newton Compton festeggia 53 anni, vissuti con l’impegno costante di rendere il sapere accessibile a tu tti. Nel 2019 la Newton Compton entra a far parte del Gruppo editoriale Mauri Spagnol, che con le proprie risorse dà modo alla casa editrice di crescere, innovare e far leggere di più gli italiani, in linea con quella che è stata, e che sempre sarà, la sua vocazione.
Founded in 1969 by Vittorio Avanzini and now headed by him together with his son Raffaello, Newton Compton is celebrating 53 years of publishing with a constant commitment to making knowledge accessible to all. 2019 represents an especially important milestone because it is the year Newton Compton joins the Mauri Spagnol publishing group, a union which will enable the publishing house to grow and innovate in order to pursue its vocation to encourage Italians to read more.
